Frequently Asked Questions

No question is a bad question. If you have a question that isn’t listed, send us a message!

Can I book online, or do I need to call?

Both! You can book directly through our website’s booking page for your convenience, or call us if you’d prefer to speak with a team member and discuss your dog’s specific needs.

How far in advance should I book my dog's stay?

We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance for standard stays. During peak seasons such as summer vacation, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year, we suggest reserving your spot 4–6 weeks ahead, as spaces fill quickly. Same-day bookings are accommodated when availability allows, but we can’t guarantee placement without prior reservation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 72 hours or more before your scheduled drop-off receive a full refund. Within 72 hours, a 25% fee applies. For holiday bookings (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year), cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance to receive a refund; otherwise, a 50% fee applies. We understand emergencies happen, give us a call and we’ll do our best to work with you.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the estimated total is required to hold your reservation. This deposit is applied toward your final balance at checkout.

What vaccinations are required for boarding?

For the safety of all our guests, we require proof of the following up-to-date vaccinations:

– Rabies (1-year or 3-year)
– Distemper/Parvo (DHPP)
– Bordetella (canine cough)

Vaccination records must be on file before your dog’s stay begins. We’re happy to work with your vet’s office to obtain records directly, just let us know.

Can my dog board if they're on medication?

Absolutely. Our trained staff administer medications at no additional charge. Please bring medications in their original packaging with clear dosing instructions and your veterinarian’s contact information.

What if my dog gets sick during their stay?

If your dog shows signs of illness, we’ll isolate them from other dogs for safety and notify you immediately. We’ll consult with your regular vet if available, or transport your dog to the nearest vet if urgent care is needed. All veterinary expenses are billed to the owner, and we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.

My dog has special needs (senior, diabetic, recovering from surgery, etc.). Can you accommodate them?

Yes. We have experience caring for senior dogs, dogs with mobility challenges, diabetic dogs, post-surgical recovery, and other special needs. Please call us ahead of booking so we can discuss your dog’s requirements and make sure we’re the right fit.
